Notices for Phone-calling Appointments
1. Purpose: In order to serve the people and minimize the time that family members of inmates will spend to wait for the visits of our inmates, the Center specially provides this service of phone-calling appointments.
2. Application time for appointment of visits:
a. 09:00 ~ 11:00AM & 14:00 ~ 16:00PM, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays)
b. The application process must be accomplished at last one day earlier than the day of visit.
3. Qualification of visitors and the frequency of visits:
a. The visitors: are limited to close relatives who have already visited the inmate in the Center more than one time.
b. The frequency to be visited:
(1) For the juvenile: one time per day for those who are detained for observation, who are detained for correction, and who are criminals; one time per week for those who are observed for rehabilitation or who are detained for rehabilitation
(2) For adult inmates: one time per week

5. Hours to visit inmates in different periods: 09:15 ~ 11:45AM & 14:00 ~ 16:00PM

Group 3: 10:45 ~ 11:00 AM Group 7: 15:45 ~ 16:00 PM
Group 4: 11:30 ~ 11:45 AM
Notes: If too crowded, the schedules for groups may be modified.
a. This service is not applied to the inmates in the process of disciplinary review for having violated regulations.
b. One visit per one appointment
c. Next sign-up appointment will not be granted to the applicant until he/she shows up for the previous appointment.
d. Relatives that have made visit appointments must bring Identification certificates on the very day of visit and come to the waiting room to sign up.
e. Relatives that have made visit appointments but cannot show up at the appointed time and date should dial 04-23865827 to cancel the appointment before the last working day to the appointment date. For those relatives that failed to show up on the appointment date more than three times in 6 months, they cannot apply for new appointment of visit in next 6 months starting from the date of the latest appointment.
f. Telephone appointment service is not applicable for weekends and Chinese Lunar New Year Holidays
g. While relatives of inmates applying for appointments, the registration must be made with real personal identification. If there happens counterfeit or lying about personal identification, these relatives of inmates shall be cancelled the qualification to apply for the service.
